Foldzilla Home PDB Scan Motif Query

Foldzilla is a database of fold-specific structural motifs developed by researchers at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica. This database is derived by discovering structural motifs for each of the folds in the SCOP40 database. It aims at identifying potentially functional motifs in a protein structure, and providing functional annotation where possible.

The users can upload a PDB structure or specify which PDB id they want to query. Foldzilla then identifies the structural motifs and visualizes the motifs in the 3D structure. The users can also specify to review the structural motifs related to certain folds or superfamilies which serve as the signatures of the fold.
