generate helixwheel and hydrophobicity parameters

Introduction:
VHMPT can generate wheel representation for each transmembrane helix and calculate its hydrophobicity parameters.

Description:
Choose Edit/Generate Helix Wheel and select a helix (or directly double click on the helix's outline).

Fig. 24
Fig. 24 shows that for this helix starting from residue 145 to 163, the hydrophobicity moment is 0.095 and its angle is 113.6 degree (they are calculated according to Eisenberg et al., J. Mol. Biol. 179, 125-142, 1984). Note that the angle is drawn in clockwise direction and the yellow arrow connecting adjacent residues denotes the rotating direction of the inspected helix.

Users can drag any labeled residue around and use the "Reset positions" button to restore its original position. Users can also use "Add annotations" button (or triple click on where the annotation is desired) to add text annotations. An arrow annotation can be added by holding the Shift key, move the cursor to where the arrow is needed by dragging with the leftmost mouse key. The edited helix wheel can be saved by choosing the "Save as ..." option.
